Cancellation and refund policy

We know plans change. This policy sets out what happens if you need to cancel a confirmed stay. Because you book for specific dates, the statutory 14-day cooling-off period does not apply, so the terms below are the cancellation terms for your booking.
If you cancel
Your refund depends on how far ahead of your arrival date you cancel. The cut-off on each date is 16:00 UK time.
- Cancel 30 days or more before your arrival date: a full refund of 100% of what you paid.
- Cancel between 7 and 30 days before your arrival date: a 50% refund of what you paid.
- Cancel fewer than 7 days before your arrival date: no refund.
How to cancel
Get in touch through our contact page or email stay@taightuaram.com, quoting your booking reference. We will confirm the cancellation and any refund due in writing.
Refunds
Refunds are made through Stripe to the card you paid with, for the amount due under this policy. Once we process a refund it usually reaches your account within a few working days, depending on your bank.
If we have to cancel
If we ever have to cancel a confirmed booking, we will tell you as soon as we can and refund everything you have paid. This is covered further in our booking terms.
Travel insurance
We recommend taking out travel insurance that covers cancellation, so you are protected if you have to call off your trip for reasons outside this policy.
